On October 4-6, 2024, Warsaw's AMONDO Cinema hosted the second edition of the SK8isGR8 Skateboard Film Festival, an event that has already gained a solid reputation among fans of skateboarding and urban art. Over the course of three days, enthusiasts of skateboarding, street art and film had the opportunity to participate in a series of inspiring activities that made the event unique.
SK8isGR8 Festival was not limited to film review. The organizers provided a variety of activities that attracted both beginners and advanced skaters, as well as urban culture enthusiasts. The program included:
Exhibition - Elements of urban art and skateboard installations were available to visitors throughout the festival, providing an interesting interlude between film screenings.
Our Origami mobile skatepark obstacles also appeared at the festival, adding to the character of professional competition and adding variety to the riding area. Origami's modular structures provided ideal conditions for competition and free riding, allowing a variety of tricks and maneuvers. The riders were eager to use the obstacles, which were appreciated by both the contestants and spectators watching the rides.
The festival was crowned by a skateboard competition, which attracted a large number of fans and competitors. Thanks to professional preparation and the use of Origami Skatepark mobile obstacles, participants were able to compete on a variety of elements, testing their skills and endurance. The competition was fierce, and spectators could not take their eyes off the skaters' displays.
SK8isGR8 Skateboard Film Festival is an event that once again proved that skateboard culture in Poland has a solid foundation and a dedicated community. AMONDO Cinema, which hosted the festival, provided not only a great atmosphere, but also a space to exchange passion and inspiration.
